Best Staycation Hotel for Every Budget – The Tallinn Edition 2026

This year vacationers want to take it easy, and what they need for that is a staycation hotel. Staycation hotels offer an opportunity to lay low in order to forget about all of our responsibilities and busy schedules.

Even though ‘staycation’ originally referred to vacationing at home or around one’s local areas, today a staycation can be taken across borders as well. The difference between a regular vacation abroad versus a staycation is the fact that staycations come without schedules and itineraries.

As a natural continuation, the preferred staycation destinations are countries, cities and areas that are not tourist traps. For this reason places like Venice or Barcelona are certainly not ideal for someone who’s looking for a calm getaway. So, when considering a staycation, start searching for destinations that are up-and-coming or not that popular.
