Linen Handmade Studio Review – Premium Natural Material Clothing

This Linen Handmade Studio review will give you a wholesome idea of this women-led sustainable fashion brand. As heatwaves rage and more of us become aware of the dangers of wearing clothes made of synthetic materials, we start looking for alternative solutions.

And even though it’s not often helpful to wish for old times to return, there are aspects of how our grandparents did things that we should learn from. Like the way they valued clothing; they understood what good quality meant and were willing to invest in it.

Good quality in the olden days meant clothes that could last the tooth of time, and were made of natural fabrics using local/European artisans and craftsmanship. All things that are good for people and the planet!

But the question is what is linen, how is linen clothing better, and does Linen Handmade Studio deserve the label of a premium natural fashion brand? Let’s find out!

Linen Handmade Studio – The Review 2026

I’m the happy owner of the Cassidy dress by Linen Handmade Studio. But before I go through everything about it, I will answer the question: what is linen? It’s a fabric made out of fibers of a flax plant and the fabric creation process is very straight-forward. No insane amounts of water or chemicals needed, unlike with denim or synthetic fabrics.

Linen is known as a strong, quickly drying and very comfortable fabric, so it’s the perfect choice for hot days. Summer linen breathes, which is a blessing your skin is screaming for while suffocating under polyester clothing. But what did I think about my Cassidy dress? Let’s dig into my Linen Handmade Studio review:

Ordering process: 9/10

Linen Handmade Studio doesn’t have any physical stores but of course they offer an online store. All different linen clothing categories are easy to find and each garment is showcased in photos that give a good idea of what the garments look like.

The details of each piece are also clearly available, which I appreciate because sometimes you need to search for info, like:

  1. description of the piece
  2. the fact that each piece is made-to-order
  3. size information (what size the model wears in the photos, linen dress or skirt’s hem length, etc.)
  4. fabric and care information
  5. delivery information.

The ordering process is very straight-forward: add to basket, go to check-out, fill in details and you’re done! The payment method selection includes credit cards, PayPal, Klarna and in Northern Europe also MobilePay.

Pricing: 10/10

As I’ve covered before, cheap clothes aren’t normal even though we’ve been led to believe so. If something is ridiculously cheap, it’s always suspicious because it means that vital corners have been cut. And because few of us care about those corners, we’ve lost the understanding of actual value and what the pricing of clothes should consist of.

Even in a world filled with technology, robots still can’t make your clothes. Designing clothes for humans and making the pieces requires craftsmanship and creativity, which machines – even AI – don’t have. Especially when it comes to natural material clothing!

So, if you think that Linen Handmade Studio’s pieces are expensive, babe! You need to check your privilege. Because considering that this is a small brand that offers proper quality and makes each piece to order, the pricing is actually on the cheap side.

Customer service: 11/10

I exchanged some emails with the brand about which size I should opt for, and their service was stellar! Quick response times and the friendliest, most helpful people. They also have a chat on their website, which makes contacting them extra easy.

Delivery: 10/10

One of the reasons why I don’t like ordering online is the fact that I have to wait for the clothes to arrive. But with Linen Handmade Studio the wait was short enough even for my impatient ass: 2 days! Even for US, Canada and Australia orders the delivery is possible in just 2-4 days.

Obviously there can always be unexpected issues that are out of the brand’s control, but you all know that, right?

The Cassidy Dress: 9/10

Now, I had to snuff 1 point off because the images on the site, according to which I ordered my linen dress, were misleading. I clicked my way to Mini Dresses and chose the Cassidy dress specifically because I wanted a shorter dress.

In the photo the dress is above-the-knee length but in the description it’s depicted as 90cm long. That’s longer than the dress in the photo. Fine, it’s still shorter than the other linen dresses I have.

But I couldn’t have known that there were different lengths available for that same dress, so I failed to specify in my order that I wanted the mini version. As such, I was quite surprised when I unboxed it and found a full-length maxi dress in it.

Did I love the dress regardless? Absolutely! I put it on and my first thought was: “I can’t wait to take this beauty out for a spin!

Size / Fit: 8/10

Something to know about natural material clothing: they don’t often stretch. As such, you must make sure you order the correct shape and size. Linen Handmade Studio offers a size chart on their online store, but you need to measure yourself first. It’s worth the bother, though!

There’s a deeper issue in this that I wish all fashion brands would consider more:

  • each woman’s body is completely unique!
  • If you put 5 women in a row who got the same dress and size as I did, each of those 5 bodies would be a little bit different shape.
  • Which is why brands need to do better to find ways to take different body shapes into consideration when designing clothes.

I’m a skinny pear shape (small upper body, wide hips), and even though the Cassidy dress is a good fit for me, it’s a bit too unyielding from the hips. The upper half of the dress, on the other hand, had plenty of space! A bit too much for my boobless being, but the adjustable straps solved that :)

My body is a different shape every single day, which is something that I’m sure every woman can relate to. So, unfortunately there will be days when I can’t wear the Cassidy dress simply because I’m bloated. I have a suggestion for this:

The fit could be made more inclusive by adding just a few centimeters of fabric on the hips. The fabric has a nice flow and is heavy enough to shape beautifully even with a little bit of extra left on the hips for those with slender hips.

Fabric and care instructions: 10/10

Linen clothing is one of the most practical and comfortable choices for any time of year. But especially summer linen can be a real relief in the European heat waves. Natural material clothing allows your skin to breathe and often comes without any toxic chemicals.

This Linen Handmade Studio review was happy to find out that the brand holds the OEKO-TEX standard 100 certification. This means that no harmful chemicals were used in creating their clothes. Instead, their pieces are 100% softened European linen and babes, you can feel it! My Cassidy dress is so comfortable on that I don’t want to take it off!

Linen is also very easy to manage, as long as you don’t treat it like synthetic fabrics:

  • Linen clothes can be machine-washed but in cold water (30°c).
  • Don’t bleach!
  • Tumble drying is not recommended but can be done on low heat.

Many like to iron their linen, and if you do, do it with low temperature. It’s not necessary, though: linen fabric is supposed to be slightly creased.

The Brand: 10/10

I absolutely love a European fashion brand that is run by women! And as such, it should not come as a surprise that I love Linen Handmade studio ;)

And not just because it’s a European and a women-led brand, but also because this brand aligns with my values and style aesthetics. I like sustainably made well-fitting clothes that celebrate the female shape. And I prefer premium natural material clothing because my skin is very sensitive and I value comfort.

As such, this brand was a very pleasant discovery for me! Each order is made-to-order at their studio in Lithuania by the Baltic Sea.  They use only European OEKO-TEX certified linen and offer designs that can lift your mood even on the worst of days.

About Linen Handmade Studio

Linen Handmade Studio was founded by Laura who grew up in Lithuania. Linen is a popular fabric there but also part of the country’s culture and history. It’s been a natural and inexpensive fabric to make in addition to being soft, easy to maintain and strong. No wonder Lithuania boasts multiple prominent linen clothing brands nowadays.

Laura herself grew up in a household where her mother made her linen clothes, and she made linen clothes for her dolls. As years went by the hobby grew into a dream of a business. And from that dream grew a clothing brand that is based on conscious living, slow fashion and the softness and strength that everyone who has a loving mother recognises ♥

So, whether it’s a linen dress, linen tops for women or linen shorts that you’re looking for, Linen Handmade Studio has everything. Their style aesthetic is feminine, beautiful and confident. Wearing their pieces makes you feel great, in-charge of your life because you know you look good. What more could we want from a fashion brand?
